Is the wallpaper safe for children’s rooms and nurseries?
Yes, all wallpapers are certified with safety certificates and are certified with the BS1,d0 (European) fire-certification.
Do you offer non-toxic or PVC-free materials?
Yes, all wallpapers are non-toxic and PVC-free.
Ordering and Sizing
How do I measure my wall correctly?
For classic rolls we ask you to use the calculation method.
How do I calculate how many wallpaper rolls I need?
1. Divide the width of the wall by the width of the roll (50cm)
2. Divide the length of the roll by the pattern height (1000/50cm)
3. Divide the height of your wall by the length of the pattern (wall height/50cm)
4. Divide the result of step 2 by step 3
5. Divide step 1 by step 4: Is number of rolls needed
All patterns are 50 x 50cm and you should always calculate 10% more on top of your cm's.
How much extra should I order for trimming?
Always add 10% to both height and weight. Since there will be no room left for you to move the wallpaper around on your wall we don't want you to fall short whilst applying and cutting/trimming. Since we can't produce small pieces, it is best to have some space to move around whilst installing the wallpaper so there are no gaps.
Installation
How do I install non-woven wallpaper?
You need to buy glue that is for non-woven wallpapers and this wallpaper has a 'paste-the-wall' method, meaning: You apply the glue on the wall first and then attach the wallpaper to the wall.
Can I install the wallpaper myself?
Of course, but if you haven't done this before we recommend getting help (either from a professional or someone who knows how this works)
Do I need to prepare my wall before installation?
Yes, all walls should be clean and dry. Make sure your walls are primed and preferably painted in a base coat so that your wall does not absorb all the glue. Wait at least two weeks before installing the wallpaper and pro-tip: If you use dark wallpapers, paint the wall underneath in the same/dark color so you don't end up with white gaps in case the installation is not as perfect as it should be. :-)
Care and Maintenance
Is the wallpaper washable?
You can clean the wallpaper with a damp-cloth whilst rubbing softly, but not a soaking wet one. Our wallpaper is water-repellend, not water-proof. Do not install this wallpaper in your bathroom when there is a shower.

Returns and Exchanges
Can I return children’s wallpaper?
All our wallpapers are made to order so we can't accept returns. We strongly recommend ordering a sample first.
What if my wallpaper arrives damaged?
On rare occasions a wallpaper can be printed wrong or be damaged upon arrival. Please let us know within 48hrs of receiving the wallpaper and send us clear pictures of the situation. We will try and find a quick and good solution for you.
What if I ordered the wrong size?
We strongly advise to take good care of your measurements. We can't print small pieces of wallpaper and there can be a color difference between prints. Changes can be made only within 1 hour after ordering. Once the wallpaper is in production we can't make any more changes.
If you did not order enough rolls we can always send you more, just be aware there might be slight color variations in between prints. It is very little, but we do want to let you know up front that this can happen in rare occasions.
Additional Information
Can I receive a sample before ordering?
Yes and we recommend ordering one! You can find them in our wallpaper menu, under 'Samples'.
Important:
If you decide to ask the help of a professional for your wallpaper installation, make sure you have received and checked your wallpaper BEFORE booking them.
Folk & Bloom is not responsible for the costs of booked and cancelled appointments due to a wallpaper that has not arrived in time or has a faulty print. Mistakes can happen since we work with people and we always ask you to take this in mind before you book a professional. Always check your wallpaper on arrival by rolling them out a quarter to half way and put two of them together to see if they match.
